Dogwood Fall Festival Set to Return October 15-17, 2021
The Fayetteville Dogwood Festival announced it will be bringing back its wildly popular Dogwood Fall Festival in 2021, this October 15-17.
The Dogwood Fall Festival will be held October 15-17, 2021 in Downtown Fayetteville. Primary attractions will include the Downtown Hayrides, as well as the Historic Hauntings.
The three-day event will begin on Friday, October 15 with Downtown Hayrides and Historic Hauntings and continue into the weekend featuring children’s activities as well as a wide variety of vendors and sponsors,” the Festival said in a release. “Live entertainment on Saturday will include Battle of the Bands and a dueling piano show presented by Blazin’ Keys Entertainment. On Sunday, a car and motorcycle show will be held in Festival Park Plaza parking lot. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.”
This will be the first larger-scale festival for the Dogwood Festival team since they had to cancel both of last year’s festivals because of the COVID-19 pandemic. A mini-festival was held early in the summer this year, but did not have any of the normal spring Dogwood Festival attractions.
While not as big as the huge Dogwood Festival held each spring, the Dogwood Fall Festival has become a community favorite. The hayrides and storytelling through downtown Fayetteville, as well as the Historic Hauntings in Festival Park and other locations have traditionally been huge hits.
The spring Festival has been recognized across the Southeast as one of the top festivals, featuring vendors, games, rides, concerts and much more. In normal years, it brings nearly 250,000 people throughout Downtown Fayetteville across Festival weekend.
