Fayetteville Natives Spread Holiday Cheer at Christmas Giveback Event
Fayetteville has always had a knack for producing superstars who love giving back to the community, and star rapper Morray teamed up with viral TikTok barber VicBlends to do just that Thursday at their Christmas Giveback event..
Morray and VicBlends (real name Victor Fontanez), both Fayetteville natives, surprised kids with gifts, haircuts, and more at Segra Stadium. Several thousand people attended the event.
Beasley Media’s Gilbert Baez Jr. hung out with some of the crew, including Vic, to showcase the importance of giving back this season.
Hundreds of kids came out to celebrate the event, with others from the Two-Six Project, giving out food, winter clothes, and Christmas gifts. Morray and Vic both spent part of the day Wednesday buying up toys at some local Walmarts as well.
Morray has risen to fame in the last couple of years, most notably as a rap star teamed up with another Fayetteville native, J. Cole. Morray received two Grammy nominations this year.
VicBlends has risen to viral superstardom quickly, thanks to his incredible haircut videos on TikTok. Vic surprises people on the street with cuts, and his inspiring conversations with the recipients have helped land him 10.5 million TikTok followers and 118 million video likes.
