Taylor Swift Fans Raise Money So Bride Doesn’t Have To Sell THIS To Pay For Wedding
Taylor Swift fans, also known as Swifties, are a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. With their unwavering dedication and passion for Taylor Swift, they have shown the world the true power of fandom. Swifties are not just fans; they are a community that supports each other and their idol through thick and thin.
One of the key strengths of Taylor Swift fans is their ability to mobilize and unite for various causes. Whether it’s supporting Taylor’s music releases, defending her against criticism, or advocating for social justice issues, Swifties show up in full force. Their collective voice on social media platforms can create trends, amplify messages, and drive change.
Furthermore, Taylor Swift herself has acknowledged and appreciated her fans’ support, often interacting with them on social media and even surprising them with personalized gifts and gestures.
Taylor need not get involved this time …
According to INSIDE EDITION, devoted Taylor Swift fan Emily Harris was considering selling the T Swift-autographed guitar that her father gave her for her 16th birthday to help pay for her upcoming wedding, but she was hesitant to part with such a meaningful possession. She asked her father to have the guitar appraised and he turned to a Taylor Swift Facebook group for advice, sparking an overwhelming response from fans who encouraged them not to sell the guitar. Many suggested they start a GoFundMe campaign instead, promising to support a fellow Swiftie.
Moved by the outpouring of support, Harris launched a crowdfund page, which quickly gained traction. Fans rallied behind her, contributing more than $14-hundred so far towards her wedding fund. The bride-to-be thanked supporters and has pledged to pay their kindness forward when she’s able.
Harris, a behavior analyst who works with autistic children and teens, plans to marry her fiancé, Jacob McDaniel, a high school athletic trainer, this November. She expressed gratitude for the support from the Swiftie community, and says it renewed her faith in the goodness of people. She also says the money will go a long way to helping pay for expenses like their wedding DJ, who will of course be spinning Taylor songs.
