NFL Extends Halftime for Beyoncé Christmas Performance
It looks like the BeyHive has something a little extra to cheer for. Not only is Beyoncé performing for the halftime during the NFL Christmas Day game in Houston, but it looks like she is getting a little bit of extra time to really show us who runs the world and Christmas.
An Extra Special Beyoncé Christmas
TMZ Sports reports that the diva will be getting extended showtime as the NFL will make their halftime a little longer to give the singer some extra time to perform. Typically, halftime is anywhere between 12 and 15 minutes but for the Texans and Ravens Christmas Day matchup, the halftime can last up to 25 minutes.
Beyoncé has been teasing social media users about the halftime performance with special video clips to promote the Christmas Day specialty, but this news is allowing fans to really celebrate some extra time to enjoy Cowboy Carter.
This may not be a Super Bowl Halftime performance, but they want to make it as close as possible to it for the Queen Bey. And, of course, Beyonce has played the Super Bowl Halftime show twice: first in 2013 on her own, and then in 2016 as Coldplay’s guest.
The game and halftime performance will be streaming on Netflix for the very first time in history. Netflix and the NFL teaming up to give us all an extra special gift this holiday season.
On Wednesday, Beyoncé dropped another teaser promoting the halftime performance. This time it was a video with the caption that read, “A Cowboy Carter Christmas. HOUSTON, TEXAS 12.25.” Who’s ready to tune in to some football and Beyoncé this Christmas Day?
