Woodpeckers Offering Mountaire Farms Chicken in Huge Pre-Order Sale
Woodpeckers selling chicken? No, it’s not a case of birds turning against each other. It’s actually a great effort from our fine-feathered friends, the Fayetteville Woodpeckers, to help support the community with a Segra Stadium Community Chicken Sale.
Until Monday, June 29 at noon, anybody can pre-order a 40-pound case of Mountaire Farms frozen blue label boneless, skinless chicken breasts from the Fayetteville Woodpeckers. Pickup for the pre-ordered chicken will be on July 2 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Segra Stadium.
The Woodpeckers’ 40-pound chicken breast cases include four 10-pound sealed bags, and are for sale at $53 each. Also available are 40-pound fresh jumbo leg quarters bags, containing approximately 25-27 leg quarters for $23.
All Woodpeckers chicken sale orders must be done in advance by the June 29 deadline, and you’ll set an approximate pick-up time when you order.
Bunker the Woodpecker could not be reached for comment, as he’s a bird who can’t speak. But his desire to be the only prominent dancing bird in the community has been well known for some time. There is also no word on whether the Woodpeckers will allow chicken dancing at the stadium for future events.
