A Woman Has Died After Being Attacked By An Alligator In South Carolina

A woman was reportedly attacked by an alligator in South Carolina this morning.
According to WSOCTV, the incident happened in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
It is believed the woman was walking her dog at the time the attack occurred.
A witness phoned authorities and told them it appeared an alligator was attacking a woman — In close proximity to a nearby golf course.
Police and medics arrived on scene around 9:30 am.
Sadly, the victim did not survive the attack.
Her body was found in a nearby lagoon.
The news comes after a woman died in June from a similar attack in Florida.
