3 Big Reasons Why Men Don’t Date Anymore
As a single lady, I understand how frustrating it is to date. We are really wondering where the chivalry is. We just wonder why men don’t date anymore. With the rise of social media influencers giving you advice that may or may not work, it all becomes so overwhelming that I completely check out and no longer want to date. I wasn’t surprised to learn that men also have their reasons as to why they’re over it too. Let’s look at 3 big reasons men say they don’t want to date anymore.
1. Choosing Career and Education
Men are choosing to focus on their career and educational goals and putting dating at the bottom of their priority list. Men also tend to be focused on long-term financial stability. Choosing your career is definitely a very popular choice among both men and women when deciding to put a pause on dating.
2. Financial Insecurity
For some men dating has a hefty financial responsibility, and let’s be honest, most women expect the men in their life to be able to pay for a nice dinner date or afford a gift every now and then. With the current financial situation, I can certainly understand why it’s more expensive to take a woman out on a date and men are choosing to avoid asking women out as much.
3. Dating Apps
I know all too well how the frustration of dating apps will cause you to throw your phone at a wall in a fit of rage, well maybe not that but you’ll certainly delete the app a few times, reinstall, and delete again until you give up like I did. Although technology has made it easier to meet people, men are reporting feeling overloaded by the volume of singles on dating apps and find it difficult to focus on one potential partner.
Of course, this list is not complete, there are tons of reasons why men may not find that dating is essential, if you’re curious as to the other reasons, check out this cool article that lists the top 25 reasons why men want to stop dating.
