Mom Holds Hair School To Help Dads Bond With Their Daughters
Doing a daughter’s hair can indeed be a challenging task for dads who may not have experience with hairstyling. From detangling knots to creating intricate braids or ponytails, the world of hair care and styling can seem overwhelming. However, with patience, practice, and the right tools, dads can master the art of doing their daughters’ hair.
The bonding experience that comes with doing a daughter’s hair is priceless. It’s a special time for connection and creating memories that both dad and daughter will cherish. So, while the struggle may exist initially, with determination and a willingness to learn, dads can conquer the challenge of doing their daughters’ hair with love and creativity.
According to Fox News, a mom in Scotland is helping the dads in her neighborhood tackle styling their daughters’ hair. Sarah Eaton is a hairstylist and was inspired to help others after having a hard time braiding her daughters’ wigs for Halloween. So, she started a hair workshop business, Bonnie’s Braids, because of local demand from moms. It started with the mothers learning french braiding.
Eaton expanded the business to classes for dads and explains “I teach them the basics of how to brush their hair and how to use de-tangle spray,” adding “The look of admiration on their faces after each session is amazing.” Parents learn everything from brushing, to making braids and buns.
Eaton says the classes give dads the confidence boost they need to make their girls look fabulous. The fathers even get a certificate after they complete to sessions.
