Carrabba’s in Fayetteville Sustains Small Fire Damage, Will Reopen Friday
The Carrabba’s Italian Grill on Sycamore Dairy Road in Fayetteville sustained minor damage in a fire Thursday evening, but will be back open Friday.
The small appliance fire in the kitchen was due to an outdated dishwasher, and caused no major damage, restaurant proprietor Ryan Tucker said.
“It was fortunately just a small fire in an old dishwasher and nothing major was impacted,” Tucker told WKML. “By the time we assured nobody was harmed and no damage was done, it was too late in the evening to open back up.”
Tucker said the restaurant will be back to normal on Friday, with no issues to the public.
“We’ll be happy to have everyone back in all weekend,” Tucker said. “We’re happy this wasn’t a major issue and look forward to seeing all our friends like normal.”
