Ah, unrequited love! It’s already pretty scary to go out on a limb and gather up your nerve to spill your heart’s deepest desires to its intended target. But when it gets kicked back, it can be devastating, however, Reddit users are sharing some of the more humorous rejections they’ve gotten.
According to WebMd, unrequited love (which is obviously a medical condition) is defined as “When you develop romantic feelings for another person who doesn’t feel them back, it’s unrequited love. Whether you’re longing for your crush to make a move or you’ve told them how you feel and are rejected, this kind of love remains one-sided. If the other person doesn’t have romantic feelings like you do, there are ways to move forward. At the same time, if someone expresses love for you that you can’t return, there are ways to address it.”
