Another change coming is with the Apple Watch. On the updated operating system, it will detect how long someone is washing their hands. Per the New York Post, “The system will automatically recognize when hands are being washed thanks to its built-in microphone and motion sensors, and will vibrate to prompt users to keep on scrubbing if it senses they stop before the CDC-recommended 20 seconds.”
