Tom Holland Protects Zendaya from Paparazzi and Fans During Bero Event
Tom Holland is a busy man! After confirming Spider-Man 4, he’s been pre-occupied with launching his latest business venture, a non-alcoholic beer called “Bero,” and of course, being Zendaya’s knight in shining armor.
Why Tom Holland Launched Bero
Aside from the fact that there is a growing market for non-alcoholic beer and other drinks as reported by Fox Business, Holland and Bero CEO John Herman want to provide a drink option to people who don’t want to drink alcohol. Herman said, “The growth of people being more discerning about what they’re putting in their body while not wanting to say no to moments of making memories is going to stay.”
Holland, who’s been very vocal about his journey with sobriety, shared that Bero has been a pet project of his. Speaking with Forbes, “When I got sober, I started exploring the world of non-alcoholic beers and realized there was space for me to fit in.” He started avoiding alcohol during Dry January, a campaign launched in 2013 by the organization Alcohol Change UK to encourage people not to drink alcohol for a month. Noticing the positive changes it brought, Holland continued challenging himself not to drink.
He did admit, however, that it was hard. “My first year sober was really difficult, and had I had Bero, I think it would have been easier.”
Tom Holland, The Delivery Man
In an interview with Seth Meyers, Meyers showed a clip of Holland being hands-on with the business and acting as a delivery man for Bero’s customers. However, as Meyers pointed out, it seems no one noticed it was Holland doing the delivery!

Support from His Real-Life MJ
Holland’s longtime girlfriend Zendaya has also been seen rocking Bero merchandise in support of her man.
She was also present at a Bero event, even wearing matching outfits. However, a supposedly fun event to celebrate Holland’s first business took a tense turn when aggressive fans and paparazzi swarmed to get Zendaya’s picture and autograph.
Holland can be seen “rescuing” Zendaya, and most netizens have been gushing about his action. He’s always ready to protect her when she needs him to. However, there have been negative comments suggesting Holland is “jealous of the attention,” he’s “overreacted,” “possessive,” and even calling him “a jerk.” One particularly nasty comment even asked whether he had started drinking again.
Despite these few criticisms, the consensus of fans still praised Holland’s action in prioritizing Zendaya’s safety, especially since she’s been a victim of an erotomaniac stalker.
