Stoney Point Fire Department Celebrating 60th Anniversary With Open House
On Saturday, July 27th, you are invited to celebrate the 60th Anniversary Open House for the Stoney Point Fire Department.
This FREE event will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Stoney Point Road Fire Department located at 7221 Stoney Point Road in Fayetteville, North Carolina 28306.
Expect to have a great time touring the Stoney Point Fire Department facilities, check out the awesome fire trucks and be amazed at the equipment contained in each vehicle.
If you are wondering what types of fire-fighting apparatus you will see, check this list. Five pumper/tankers, one heavy rescue walk-in, one 75-foot aerial device, one heavy-duty brush truck, a quick response medical vehicle, two rescue boats, a mobile support air trailer, a 500-gallon foam trailer and two prime mover units.
Members of the Stoney Point Fire Department will be on hand and will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
There will also be a fire education house, free food, free giveaways, free prizes and free music by Fayetteville’s super-popular group the Rivermist Band.
Rivermist is on fire these days with two really popular singles, “Everything’s Changed” and “Don’t Walk Away.” Fans love the songs so much, that the band has spent 16 weeks atop the weekly beach music countdown.
