Harlem Globetrotters Bouncing Back to Fayetteville in April of 2024
The Harlem Globetrotters are coming back to Fayetteville, North Carolina, for a fun-filled evening of basketball joy.
According to a press release from the Crown Complex, the Globetrotters – and their arch-rival Washington Generals – will come to the Crown Coliseum on April 19, 2024. Tickets go on sale on September 25 at the Crown Box Office or through Ticketmaster.
“Get ready for a slam-dunk extravaganza as the world-famous Harlem Globetrotters make their triumphant return to Crown Coliseum,” the release said. “This is your chance to witness the record-breaking stars of basketball LIVE as they bring an unforgettable blend of DRIBBLING, SPINNING, and DUNKING to the court, taking on their fierce rivals, the Washington Generals, on April 19, 2024.”
The Globetrotters have been, well, traveling the globe since their first road game back in 1927 – almost ONE HUNDRED YEARS AGO! It wasn’t quite like it is now, as they were a real basketball team back then, even beating the World Champion Minneapolis Lakers in 1948 and 1949.
The Globetrotters were inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2002, and play over 400 games a year in over 25 countries.
For the 2024 tour, Fayetteville Globetrotter fans can expect to see Hammer, TNT, Bulldog, Cheese, Torch, Hot Shot, Jet, Wham and Thunder – among others – as they take on the Generals.
There are new experiences set for this tour, including an official partnership with Spalding, and a fan-filled Halftime Skills Showcase.
