One of my favorite things to do for the Fourth of July with my family is a good fireworks show. Generally, you don’t have to drive far, you can bring as many people as you like, and parking is free. It’s hard to beat that combination, but let us not forget the looks of amazement that fireworks generally bring to the faces of the children we love. It’s as if in those moments children are reminded that dreams really do come true. All that said I compiled a list of some shows in and around Fayetteville where you can pull up and watch some great shows.
As the unofficial Home of Freedom, there’s a lot to do in our region for the Fourth of July, so here’s a look at the events, restrictions, and so much more for food, fireworks and fun.
The big highlights this year around Fayetteville include Sheryl Crow and Gavin DeGraw at the 4th at the Fort Celebration, the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra at Festival Park, a cookout and fireworks with the Fayetteville Woodpeckers, fireworks in Hope Mills, Pinehurst, Lillington, Laurinburg, Clinton and more.
And we are on the lookout for more fun stuff going on, so make sure to let us know what we missed!
