State-Of-The-Art Nursing Facility Breaks Ground in Pinehurst
Get ready, Pinehurst! The North Carolina city will soon be home to SanStone Health & Rehabilitation’s newest nursing facility, as the Lodge at Sandhills Carolina has broken ground.

SanStone has proudly served North Carolina for 20 years, providing health and rehabilitation services across 15 cities including Asheville, Charlotte, Fayetteville, and Sanford (click here for a full list of SanStone locations). Now Pinehurst can also be added to the list with its upcoming facility, The Lodge at Sandhills Carolina.
The facility is set for construction at 2178 Midland Road in Pinehurst, near the Ironwood Cafe.
“Strategically located in one of the world’s premier golf destinations, The Lodge at Sandhills Carolina is dedicated to delivering a safe and comfortable environment,” a release from SanStone said. “Every suite comes with personal showers and cozy visitor sitting areas.”
The 100-bed skilled nursing facility will offer residents private luxury suites with cutting-edge amenities, promising to set a new standard in senior care in the region. The new facility will also house a therapy pool to accommodate various physical therapy treatments like muscle strengthening and alleviating muscle spasms and pain.
Residents can also enjoy a state-of-the-art golf simulator, which assists with coordination and provides entertainment in a controlled environment.
SanStone is holding a private groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the new location, on December 5.
