Martha Stewart on Golden Bachelorette Guys: ‘Not Hot Enough’
We stan an unapologetic queen! Martha Stewart has been trending lately because of an interview she recently did with Snoop Dogg on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. During the interview, Cohen asked Stewart whether she was willing to do The Golden Bachelorette. To which she replied, “Absolutely not.” When Cohen asks whether $1 million or $10 million dollars might make her change her mind, Stewart admitted the real reason for her reluctance: “The guys aren’t hot enough.”

The Golden Bachelorette is a dating reality television series. It’s a spin-off The Bachelorette, although the female searcher and the contestants vying for her love are older. It premiered on ABC in September with the series showing 61-year-old Joan Vassos, a widow from Maryland, as the first golden bachelorette looking for love.

Snoop Dogg as well as those who’ve seen and read about the interview, couldn’t help but crack up at Stewart’s candid take.
Frankly, she’s got every reason to be picky! Stewart has not only built an empire but she can also be considered an expert on what’s “hot” especially since she’s graced the cover of Sports Illustrated at 81!

Joan Vassos’ Irked by Stewart’s Comment
Not everyone found Stewart’s observation funny. Joan Vassos, the Golden Bachelorette herself, said she DM’d Stewart to give her a piece of her mind. As published in US Weekly, “I said, ‘Dating is hard out there and I had a great group of guys.’ She doesn’t know ‘em like I know ‘em. I got to know the inside of them as well as the outside, and both are wonderful.”
She added, “The team did a great job of picking them. What they’re about and their backstories, they’re all so wonderful. They are there for a reason. When they got out of the limos that first night, every single one of them did something memorable and made me want to get to know them more.”
Would Martha Be the Next “Golden Bachelorette?”
The possibility of this happening is low unless Pete Davidson is one of the contestants!
However, with Vassos extending an invitation for Stewart to attend the show’s finale to get to know the guys better and for her to change her mind, she might be open to making a surprise cameo!
