How To Get a Job at the 2024 Carolina Renaissance Festival
The Carolina Renaissance Festival is back for another year of merriment and revelry in 2024! This annual event, held in Huntersville, NC from September through November, transports visitors to the fictional 16th-century European village of Fairhaven for a day of immersive entertainment, artisanal crafts, and delectable food.
Working At the Carolina Renaissance Festival
If you are interested in working at the Festival, the Carolina Renaissance Festival will be holding a job fair on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The festival hires around 350 seasonal employees each year for a variety of positions, including:
- Hawking turkey legs and ale
- Selling admission tickets
- Greeting guests
- Food and beverage servers & prep
- Parking attendants and crossing guards
- Sanitation and grounds crew
- Salespersons and hawkers for vendor booths.
Positions will likely require wearing provided costumes and working weekends during the festival season from early October through late November. To attend the job fair, simply show up at the festival grounds at 16445 Poplar Tent Road in Huntersville, NC 28078 during the designated time on September 7th. Bring proper identification like a driver’s license, social security card, birth certificate or passport. Dress comfortably for the weather – costumes are not required for the job fair. The festival is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status. Seasonal pay ranges from $15-40 per hour depending on the position.
A Village Comes to Life
With over 500 costumed characters roaming the 25-acre theme park, the Carolina Renaissance Festival truly brings history to life.
