Britney Spears Blasts ‘Fake News’
Britney Spears blasts rumors reported by gossip website TMZ that said she was fighting with her rumored boyfriend, Paul Richard Soliz, at a hotel.
The gossip site published photos that appeared to show the pop star being escorted out of the luxury Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles by paramedics on Thursday (May 2). In the photos, Spears, 42, left barefoot while clutching a blanket and hotel pillow. She was reportedly assessed by medical staff but did not leave in the ambulance.

Following TMZ‘s reporting, the “Lucky” singer shared a message to fans on her Instagram to shut down the rumors. “Just to let people know… the news is fake!” Spears wrote in her Instagram message Thursday night.
While giving more background that she is “just a girl” on her period so she’s “bitchy,” the mom of two adds, “I also twisted my ankle last night and paramedics showed up to my door illegally. They never came in my room but I felt completely harassed. I’m moving to Boston !!! Peace.”
Five hours later, Spears stated in another Instagram post: “I know my mom was involved !!! I haven’t talked to her in 6 months and she called right after it happened before the news being out !!! I was set up just like she did way back when !!! I wish I had grandparents !!! I can’t stand her !!! I honestly don’t care I will say it !!!”
In the accompanying clips of her post, Spears calls herself a “f—-ing idiot” trying to do leaps in the living room of the Chateau Marmont, fell, embarrassed herself, “and uh, that’s it!” She reiterated that the medics came illegally.
In the last slide, she posted a photo of her lawyer, Matthew Rosengart. She gave him a shoutout at the end of her caption: “Psss this man is wonderful !!! He’s like a father to me and he got me through last night !!! I adore you and admire you mister Mathew !!!”
TMZ hasn’t let up on their narrative, publishing another story on Friday that Spears and Soliz have a “history of violence.” Sources told the gossip site that the couple was staying at the Wynn Las Vegas the last week of December, and they allegedly got into an intense fight that was so bad that ended up in their hotel room being trashed. Britney supposedly ended up paying the hotel tens of thousands of dollars to cover the damage.
Soliz is reportedly her former maintenance worker and as her boyfriend, orders security around.
