IHOP Brought Back Pepsi With Maple Syrup
A fresh Pepsi and basically anything with maple syrup are individually delicious. However, IHOP has once again put them together: they’ve brought back Pepsi with maple syrup.
For some interested customers this marriage of sugars may seem genius. Others may recall this was dangled out there briefly two years ago. In 2022, Pepsi debuted a white can called Maple Syrup cola that had the IHOP stamp on the bottom. Only 2,000 cans were issued. They were available only via a special social media giveaway.
Now, however, this blend is back for a wide range of interested customers to try. “The IHOP x Pepsi Maple Syrup Cola hits on a broader “dirty soda” trend featuring a sparkling beverage with something creamy added to it,” Nation’s Restaurant News explained.
Pepsi With Maple Syrup Joins An Eclectic Menu At IHOP
Sure, pancakes steal the show at IHOP. Understandably, the recipe for pancakes at IHOP creates an unparalleled signature taste. While IHOP has certainly understood this over the years and stayed in their lane of consistently delivering the ultimate pancakes, they also are unafraid to add creativity to their offerings.
For example, here are the new menu items now available at IHOP.
- Cinnamon Apple Pecan Pancakes
- A Classic Chicken Sandwich
- Cupcake House-Made Milkshake
- Cinn-A-Stack House-Made Milkshake
- Watermelon Lemonade Splasher
- Smoke Sausage Links
- Kids French toast sticks with strawberries, bananas, and chocolate sauce
- Pancake Of The Month Combo – where you choose two same-flavored pancakes, served with two eggs, golden hash browns, two hickory-smoke bacon strips or pork sausage links.
In terms of the maple syrup Pepsi, there are actually options to jump into this pairing. You can get a 30 oz. maple syrup Pepsi cola for $4.99. There are also float variations. Such examples include a Pepsi maple syrup cola float. This will run you $5.49.
IHOP describes the pairing as, “a perfect blend of maple syrup flavor indulgence with the crisp, refreshing, caramel notes of Pepsi.”
The 2024 return of maple syrup and Pepsi combination will be available for a limited time only and during all meal times. You can get a glimpse of this combo in action by following IHOP’s Instagram and viewing this post.
It appears the Pepsi logo on the ice cold glasses also features a stack of pancakes topped with a scoop of butter. Whether or not you usually have a soda with your pancakes, you might want to consider trying it next time you go to IHOP.
