Burt’s Bees and Hidden Valley Ranch Drop Lip Balm Collab
It was once an April Fool’s joke; now, it’s a reality. Burt’s Bees is teaming with Hidden Valley Ranch giving you Ranch Dippers lip balm. Starting on January 17, fans can purchase a limited-edition 4-pack of Burt’s Bees lip balm. It comes in classic flavors like Hidden Valley Ranch, Buffalo Sauce, Crunchy Celery, and Fresh Carrot.
“We are officially in wing eating season, which feels right at home for Hidden Valley Ranch,” said CC Ciafone, Marketing Director at Hidden Valley Ranch. “As we inch closer to the biggest wing consumption day of the year, we are looking forward to teaming up with Burt’s Bees for this never-been-done-before collab – and our first foray into the beauty category!”
The personal care brand said that it all started with an April Fools social post featuring Hidden Valley Ranch lip balm. At that time, so many people were into the idea that it eventually became a real lip balm flavor.
The ranchy lip balm currently has 4 out 5-star reviews on their website. Someone commented, “I love it, I love it, I love it.” Another person wrote about how much they love ranch and just had to have it in a lip balm.
Don’t eat the ranch flavored lip balm.
“This (very) limited-edition 4 pack is like a basket of wings in balm form,” as described on the website. And before you get too excited, the lip balm is not for consumption. So, don’t get any ideas about chowing down on lip balm. According to the Burt’s Bees website, the products, which were retailing for $11.99, have already sold out. But good news, there is an option to join a wait list.
