NC State Fair Gives Sneak Peek Of New Rides For 2023 Season

The N.C. State Fair is coming this October, and tickets are on sale now!

We’re exactly two weeks away from the grand opening of the NC State Fair! And this season they’re pulling out all the stops to ensure that you and your family have the #BestDayEver at the fairgrounds. This includes all new exhibits, food vendors, and rides, the last of which we’ve now been given a sneak peek.

Many of the fair’s new entertainment performances were announced when tickets went on sale last month. And while the new food and exhibits have yet to be revealed, the state fair website did provide a glimpse of the exhilarating new rides coming to the fairgrounds this year. Venetian Carousel, Tesla AC, Techno, and Wipeout are all new additions to the roster of rides you can find at the N.C. State Fair.

According to Yahoo News, Venetian Carousel is described by the fair as “elegantly beautiful”. But if you’re looking for something more erratic and high-octane, you can spin and dip under the six bright thunderbolts of Tesla AC! Or you can take a ride on Techno  for a dizzying thrill ride. Wipeout looks to be the coolest of the new rides to me though, as it’s said to give you the feeling of being pushed by ocean waves.

All of these new rides sound absolutely amazing, though you may want to ride them BEFORE you eat some deep-fried Twinkies.

Tickets are on sale now, with discounted prices being offered until October 12. Adults can order tickets for just $10, while kids ages 6-12 can get in for $5. Free admission is offered to children ages 5 and under throughout the duration of the fair. Don’t miss out on all the fun, food, rides and good times at the NC State Fair! And if you hear a lot of high-pitched screaming coming from the Wipeout ride, don’t worry, it’s just me.
