Pecktoberfest Returns September 30 to Segra Stadium In Fayetteville

The Fayetteville Woodpeckers are bringing back their popular Pecktoberfest, on September 30.

Raise a toast to the Fayetteville Woodpeckers as they bring the 5th annual Pecktoberfest back to Segra Stadium! The beer-filled bash will commence September 30th from 5-9pm and will spotlight many fantastic breweries from across the Carolinas. I’m no psychic, but if I had to guess I’d imagine it’ll still be pretty hot outside even by late September. What better way to cool off than with a brew or two…or ten?

According to the Woodpeckers’ official announcement, this year’s Pecktoberfest promises an evening of fun for the entire family. “Additional activities will be around the field and concourse, such as cornhole and the Woodpeckers’ Kids Zone.” Along with live music and food served on the field, this year’s Pecktoberfest looks like it’ll be a home run for anyone looking for a good time.

But of course, it’s not Pecktoberfest without the refreshments! Over 20 breweries will be represented at this year’s event, with over 40 different beer samples for you to enjoy. I’m a huge fan of North Carolina’s own Red Oak Brewery. Their lager is out of this world and they’ve been a regular at the event in years past. Fingers crossed they’ll be at Segra once more next month so I can show them some love!

General admission for this year’s Pecktoberfest is $35 which includes 15 drink sampling tickets. Tickets are offered at lower prices to non-drinkers, children, and current or former military members as well. Military discounts for tickets can be purchased through GovX.com. The Woodpeckers’ official announcement also boasts the return of the exclusive VIP experience, which includes, “…early entry at 4 p.m., a 2-hour buffet, unlimited samples of VIP-excusive beers, a Pecktoberfest gift, and access to a private area.”

I can think of no better, more refreshing way to kick off the Fall season. I hope to see you at Segra next month for Pecktoberfest! I’ll be the guy trying to get Bunker to do a keg stand.
