The popularity of Food Trucks across American has increased significantly over the past five years. In fact, IBISWorld reported the industry has grown 7.9%. Food and Wine recently highlighted the best cities in the country for Food Trucks in 2023, and a North Carolina area made the list.
Whether there are local festivals, dedicated parks, or private parties in your region, food trucks of all flavors have been a huge success among those looking to grab a quick and tasty meal. Furthermore, “many trucks offer full meals for under $15,” Food and Wine points out.
The Food Network even has a dedicated show to just Food Trucks. Now in season 16, The Great Food Truck Race showcases nine trucks across the country. The program proves how each truck cooks up a cuisine that is near and dear to them, and emphasizes one of the many things Americans have grown to love about the food truck option. Raleigh
Claiming the tenth and final spot, dumpling, Indian cuisine, and Cuban sandwich trucks were all among the few options highlighted in Raleigh. “The trucks are an integral part of the dining experience because chefs use them as a breeding ground to reinvent classic Southern dishes, while others bring more international flair to the city,” Food and Wine concludes.
