Arby’s is Releasing a Line of Sweatshirts and Pants That Smell Like Meat
If you love the smell of meat – if you really love it – then you could soon own a sweatshirt that has the fine fragrance of a smokehouse. Arby’s is kicking off a line of sweatshirts and sweatpants that have actually been smoked to smell like meat.
“When you’re sitting in a smokehouse, smoking the meat for Arby’s Real Country Style Rib Sandwich for hours and hours over real hickory wood, your brain starts to wander,” a statement on the Arby’s sweatsuit website reads. “You begin to wonder what a pair of premium sweats might smell like if they, too, were smoked over hickory wood for hours. Well, Arby’s found out.”
Arby’s teamed with a real Texas smokehouse to launch the line. Currently, the website only features a sweatshirt and sweatpants, but we’re waiting to see if something extra is available when the line actually launches.
A countdown clock on the website indicates the line will drop Monday (Oct. 4).
If this is your thing, you’ll have to act fast, as the website states, “Arby’s Smoked Sweats are smoked in small batches in a Texas smokehouse and available in limited quantities.”
Arby’s gave away meat sweats back in 2017 as a promotional item, but they weren’t available to purchase and didn’t smell like meat. So, this is way cooler. Or not, if you’re not a meat fan.
