Nicole Kidman Is A Creepy ‘Wellness’ Resort Host In ‘Nine Perfect Strangers’ Trailer
Nine Perfect Strangers is an upcoming Hulu drama, starring Nicole Kidman. Kidman plays Masha, the director of a swanky health and wellness resort called Tranquilim House, “where in just 10 days, you will be transformed.”
The limited series features Melissa McCarthy, Regina Hall, Michael Shannon, Manny Jacinto, Tiffany Boone, Luke Evans, Melvin Gregg, Grace Van Patten, Asher Keddie, Samara Weaving and Bobby Cannavale. These nine “stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living.” Masha watches over them over course of the 10-day retreat, which from the looks of the trailer is more like a cult.

The show is based on Big Little Lies author Liane Moriarty’s latest book by the same name. The show was filmed on-location in Australia under COVID-19 protocols, Variety reports.
Per the outlet, Nine Perfect Strangers reunites a large chunk of the team behind the successful HBO series, including Big Little Lies executive producer Bruna Papandrea and creator and executive producer David E. Kelley. Kelley and John Henry Butterworth serve as co-writers and co-showrunners. Kidman, Papandrea and Kelley also collaborated on the critically acclaimed HBO limited series The Undoing.
