Robeson County Has First Positive COVID-19 Case; Fort Bragg Announces Fourth
Robeson County officials announced Saturday that a county resident has tested presumptive-positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Officials said the person is quarantining at home, and had recently traveled to Washington, D.C. They developed symptoms on March 12 and received testing at a “local health clinic.”
The county is now working on identifying close contacts of the individual.
Fort Bragg Officials Announce Fourth Case, Minimum Essential Manning Starting Monday
From Fort Bragg:
A fourth positive case of COVID-19 was reported to the Fort Bragg Department of Public Health this morning. The individual, a dependent of an Active Duty Service Member, in their mid-20s, had recently traveled out of state.
The individual and Service Member are both in isolation at their residence on Fort Bragg.
Womack Army Medical Center’s Department of Public Health is investigating where these individuals may have had contact with people and will notify any contacts who fall under the guidelines for additional monitoring and testing.
Womack Army Medical Center’s Department of Public Health is in contact with Cumberland County public health officials.
Fort Bragg will be going to Minimum Essential Manning on Monday and Tuesday, the 23rd and 24th of March.
