World Wrestling Entertainment is gearing up for a night of pure, animalistic carnage with WWE Bad Blood! As its name implies, Bad Blood will serve as the battlefield for the company’s most heated rivalries. And as always, I’m here to offer my extremely valuable insight into how the show will play out and who will emerge victorious. Because that’s worked out SO well for me in the past.

Reigns and Rhodes Join Forces

In a shocking twist of fate, this Saturday WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will stand shoulder-to-shoulder with his longtime rival Roman Reigns in a battle against the Bloodline. Ever since his triumphant return at SummerSlam, Reigns has been on a warpath to end his cousin Solo Sikoa’s bastardized Bloodline and reclaim his spot at the head of the table.

But try as Roman may, the group’s 4-on-1 numbers advantage has proven to be insurmountable for even the OTC to handle. Ironically, however, he has found an unlikely ally in the very man who ended his history-making world title run — “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes.

In the past few weeks Reigns and Rhodes have made it clear that, while they both share the same goal of vanquishing Solo and his followers once and for all, they’re not tagging with each other out of any sort of newfound kinship. Roman has made no bones about his future intentions. Once the OTC irons out some family business, he’s gunning for Rhodes’ championship at the first opportunity he gets.

Will the two be able to co-exist long enough to get the job done? Or will their unresolved tension cause their shaky alliance to crumble?

CM Punk and Drew McIntyre Go To Hell

The ongoing war between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre has reached a fever pitch, with both men sinking to unimaginable depths to make each other’s lives a living hell. It’s only fitting, then, that their blood feud comes to an end within the brutal confines of Hell In A Cell.

Comprised of 5 tons of steel standing at an imposing 20 feet over the ring, Hell In A Cell is a fearsome structure reserved for only WWE’s most personal rivalries. After months of mounting escalation from two of the most prideful superstars in the company, a match of hellish proportions is definitely needed to settle things for good.

During their final confrontation on Monday Night Raw this week, Punk vowed to become the monster he needs to be to send the Scottish Warrior back to his homeland “in a box.” This came right after Drew pledged to put an end to Punk’s storied career for good. Which man will make good on their promise? Who is willing to pay the greater price in order to send their opponent straight to the depths of hell?

Prediction Perfection

I have carefully analyzed each feud. I have painstakingly ran the numbers and examined the statistics. And now my inner algorithm has calculated the results with pinpoint, 100% accuracy. Here are my WWE Bad Blood predictions!

• Liv Morgan (C) vs. Rhea Ripley - Women's World Championship

  My pick: Liv Morgan

  The twists and turns this story has taken rivals that of most daytime soaps. After being betrayed by her former beau “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio, Rhea Ripley has since proven that hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. The former Women’s champ has made it her mission in life to take the title away from Liv Morgan, who hasn’t been shy about rubbing her and Dom’s romantic trysts in Rhea’s face.

  But at Bad Blood, Dominik is being taken out of the equation in unorthodox fashion. The self-professed ex con is being put behind bars once again as he’ll be suspended above the ring in a shark cage. Wrestling!

  While that should ostensibly level the playing field for Rhea to exact her revenge against Liv, I’ve learned to never count out the sheer weasel-like sneakiness of Dominik. I have no doubt he will still find some way to turn the tide in Liv Morgan’s favor, helping her secure the win and the championship once more.

• Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor

  My pick: Damian Priest

  I’m going with my gut on this one. My brain tells me that Finn will naturally try to utilize his fellow Judgment Day compatriots against Damian Priest, who was exiled from the group back at SummerSlam. It’s almost enough to compel me to give the match to him, it also stands to reason that that Priest knows the group well enough to not fall prey to the tactics employed by his former stable.

  It will be a close contest, but I believe in the end we will see Priest serve Balor some long overdue comeuppance.

   

• Nia Jax (C) vs. Bayley - WWE Women's Championship

  My pick: Bayley*

  I’m taking a major gamble on this match. You may have noticed I included an asterisk next to Bayley’s name. That’s because, while I do believe Bayley will win this match and reclaim the title, I don’t think she’ll be walking out of State Farm Arena as the champion.

  With Tiffany Stratton still in possession of her Money in the Bank briefcase, she’s always a constant and looming threat for anyone who holds the title. While she’s seemingly on good terms with Nia, one could argue that Stratton is playing her cards close to the chest, waiting for her moment to strike against a battered and weakened opponent. That’s right, this weekend I’m setting my clocks to Tiffy Time!

• CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre - Hell In A Cell Match

  My pick: Drew McIntyre

  What more can I say about this feud that the two men involved haven’t already made clear? These are two fighters who absolutely detest each other, and will no doubt rip each other to shreds within the demonic structure known as Hell In A Cell.

  I won’t belabor the point in explaining my reasoning, but I don’t think CM Punk is winning this match. His mind may be sick and twisted enough to thrive in this kind of match, but so does Drew, who is also much stronger and more powerful than Punk.

  While I have Drew down to win the match itself, I don’t see the Scottish Warrior making good on his promise to retire his foe for good. If there’s one thing Punk has proven throughout his uniquely legendary career, it’s that you can’t keep him down for long. And at the end of the day, that’s the victory that matters most.

• Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu

  My pick: The Bloodline

  I know what you’re thinking. “Really, KC? You think Roman’s going to lose his first official match since returning to WWE? Were you born this stupid or did you grind for it?” I get it. On paper this seems like a no-brainer.

  Which is precisely why I think Cody and Roman are losing on Saturday. The story of Roman versus the Bloodline is far too deep and intricate to end with just one match. I also don’t see Roman and Cody’s respective egos allowing them to work together long enough for the win. An implosion is coming, and it will cost the OTC his chance at regaining all he had lost – at least for the time being.
