Greta Thunberg is a teenage activist born in Sweden in 2003. She began protesting outside the Belgian Parliament aged 15 and started the School Strike for Climate movement which has gained global popularity seeing school students campaigning against Climate Change on Fridays instead of attending their lessons. Greta has stopped flying as the aviation industry is responsible for 12% of CO2 emissions from all forms of transports. Once in New York she will attend a climate change conference.

March 8th is International Women’s Day, and in a world where women are still fighting for equality, the event remains as important today as it was back in 1975 when it started. The theme for IWD 2022 is #BreakTheBias, and it’s all about “imagining a world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination.” Time2play surveyed 1,600 women in the US to learn more about who American women think will make the most significant impact in 2022.
