Don’t Worry Darling had another premiere, this time on the east coast. The cast — noticeably minus stars Florence Pugh and Chris Pine — went to New York Monday (September 19) night ahead of its Friday premiere. Director and star Olivia Wilde, as well as actors Harry Styles, Gemma Chan, Nick Kroll, Sydney Chandler, Kate Berlant, Asif Ali, Douglas Smith and Dita Von Teese appeared at AMC Lincoln Square 13.
Due to scheduling conflicts, Pugh, 26, couldn’t be there. She has been in Budapest, working on director Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two. Meanwhile, Pine, 42, has two films in post-production: Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves and Poolman.
The entire cast was present when Don’t Worry Darling was screened at the Venice Film Festival earlier this month. However, Pugh was not part of a press conference or photo call beforehand, and Olivia Wilde and Florence Pugh weren’t photographed together s on the red carpet.
