Billie Eilish, Cher, And More Are Donating Personal Items For COVID-19 Relief Fund Auction
Several big names in music are cleaning out their closets for a good cause. Per Billboard, stars like Billie Eilish, Barbra Streisand, Blake Shelton, Brandon Flowers, Cher, Depeche Mode, Hans Zimmer, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, and Willie Nelson are all donating items to raise money for Julien’s Auctions and MusiCares.
They explain that there will be an online auction, and the proceeds will benefit the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund.
In a statement, the President/Chief Executive Officer of Julien’s Auctions, said, “In this new world of social distancing and isolation, music and the arts has brought us together and given us hope and salvation from the despair and loss that we’ve all felt these last months.” He added, “At press time, the items up for auction had not yet been revealed.”
The auction will take place on Sept. 9 in Beverly Hills. Items up for grabs will be posted on the Julien’s Auction website.
