Nicki Minaj Speaks On Rappers Calling Tekashi 69 ‘A Snitch’
Nicki Minaj recently shared her opinion on rappers referring to Tekashi69 as “a snitch.” During an Instagram Live session with Minaj and Tekashi, the “Super Bass” rapper said, “Street [expletive] have every right to feel how they feel about snitching because they live that life,” Minaj said. “That’s a fact,” Tekashi added.
“I feel rappers need to play it easy because everybody mingles and integrates with everybody and if a top executive rat calls one of y’all unsigned rappers… y’all signing,” Minaj continued.
“Say it louder! Say that part louder! I ain’t hear you. Say that part louder. If a rat executive do what?” Tekashi sarcastically said to Minaj.

“So let’s be clear when we talk about rapper vs. street [expletive],” Minaj went on. “It’s rappers who put guns they ain’t never bust a day in their life in their music. So street [expletive] have a right to feel how they wanna feel because they’re in the field. I’m not on the block with 69.”
“I’m in rooms all the time with people with sketchy pasts and I’m judging anybody. I’m not doing that. I have nothing but respect for so many of these people and I would never fix my face to talk crazy about any of them,” Minaj continued.
“My husband doesn’t [expletive] with the street culture and I respect that because he’s lived a different life but y’all wanna make it rap one minute and then street the next minute.”
“Y’all wanna talk about people not writing their raps in one minute and then make a song with somebody that doesn’t write raps the next minute,” she went on. “Well, we not on the block. None of you [expletive] are on the block.”
Minaj recently dropped a new track called “Trollz” featuring Tekashi 69. “A portion of the proceeds from #Trollz including merch items will be going directly to The Bail Project Inc.,” Minaj wrote of the song’s proceeds on Instagram.
“The fund provides free bail assistance to low-income individuals who can’t afford to pay bail while awaiting their trial. We want to protect and support the thousands of brave people working on the front lines of social justice, using their voices to demand AN END to the targeting and killing of Black Americans by the police.” The new single was released at midnight on Friday (June 12).
