MSNBC Anchor Alison Morris Refers to Los Angeles Lakers As The N-Word While Reporting On Kobe Bryant’s Death
While reporting updates on the death of NBA legend Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gianna, MSNBC news anchor Allison Morris referred to the Los Angles Lakers as the n-word(s).
During the broadcast, Morris said that Bryant was the “the kind of star that was perfectly cast on the Los Angeles [n-word(s)].”
However, Morris took to Twitter to say that she didn’t use the n-word. “Earlier today, while reporting on the tragic news of Kobe Bryant’s passing, I, unfortunately, stuttered on-air, combining the names of the Knicks and the Lakers to say ‘Nakers.'” Morris tweeted.
“Please know I did not & would NEVER use a racist term. I apologize for the confusion this caused.
