Ari Lennox Speaks Up After Fan Likens Her & Teyana Taylor To A Rottweiler
A fan recently talked about Ari Lennox and Teyana Taylor’s looks on Twitter, and Lennox had time to respond.
“Ari Lennox and Teyana Taylor’s ability to have dangerously high sex appeal while simultaneously looking like rottweilers will always amaze me,” the fan tweeted, although it’s hard to be a fan of an artist whose looks you’d openly disrespect.
“People hate blackness so bad,” Lennox replied.

Lennox went on to address parents, telling them to “please love on your beautiful black children,” prior to tweeting that “black women” are “literally the most disrespected period.”

The “Shea Butter Baby” singer also took to Instagram Live to further address the issue.
“I’m not with it. I’m not with it at all. How people hate black people so much. How black people can sit here and say that’s not my problem or she does look like a rottweiler,” Lennox said.
“You want to talk about how people are so sensitive. Why is this your speech? Why are you just so comfortable tearing down black women and no other race? Look around. When are Hispanic women ever compared to dogs? When do they do that? When are white men doing that to white women?… They’re not. And how come as a black woman, whose sticking up, I’m Azealia [Banks]?”

Ari Lennox will unfortunately always be a target for disrespect because she’s a confident young Black woman that’s intentional on using her platform to make other Black women feel seen and she’s vocal about her feelings.

Protect her at all costs.
I love ari lennox. she said what she said. and y’all tryna find any and every excuse to continue trashing black women. y’all hate seeing this woman stand up for herself and so many others. 2020 women are taking their power back and that’s just that

None of the Black Men offended by this are speaking on the actual things Ari Lennox was called, or how disheartening her video was (from someone who is always upbeat & bussing joke)… They're strung on the fact that Black Men are being "blamed" for something lol.

This Ari Lennox and Teyana Taylor fiasco highlights just how much of a chokehold colorism still has on our community. I rarely, if ever, see people clown Ella Mai. You can like what you like, but when it’s rooted in hatred for yourself and those who made you, it’s a problem. https://t.co/tgsS5Kzo8k
