Eminem Responds To Nick Cannon’s Diss Record: ‘Stop Lying’
On Monday (Dec. 9), Nick Cannon released his diss record titled “The Invitation,” which was a response to Eminem’s verse on Fat Joe’s “Lord Above.” Eminem’s verse in that song referenced Cannon’s previous anecdote regarding wanting to confront the Detroit rapper over “The Warning,” a response to Cannon’s ex-wife Mariah Carey’s song “Obsessed,” which was about Eminem claiming he had a relationship with Carey.
On Monday night, Eminem responded to Cannon’s diss record on Twitter. “U mad bro,” Eminem tweeted. “Stop lying… I never even had a chauffeur.”
“I demand an apology Nicholas, you’ve made my gardener jealous,” Eminem continued.
Eminem’s response appears to reference a line by Cannon from his diss track, “I heard your chauffer got a video of you…/You paid him off, then laid him off, now who really the opp?”
