Tekashi 6ix9ine Associates Convicted In Gang Case Following 69’s Testimony
Two reputed Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods have been convicted by a jury following the high-profile testimony of their controversial associate, rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine, as Page Six reports.
In only 10 hours, the jury found Anthony “Harv” Ellison and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack guilty on charges of racketeering conspiracy in the gang case.
Mack was acquitted on a firearms charge, while Ellison was found not guilty of assault in aid of racketeering.
The verdict was handed after three days of testimony from the “FeFe” rapper himself, who admitted that he began working with the feds a day after he and other gang members were arrested in November of 2018.
The rapper, whose given name is Daniel Hernandez, told the panel about his time using the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods to promote his music, his proximity to various shootings and robberies, and his own kidnapping by Ellison (his former bodyguard) after the two parted ways.
Testimony from Tekashi’s driver, Jorge Rivera, who had been spying on Nine Trey secretly, was included in the eight-day trial. Rivera had his vehicle equipped with hidden cameras. The jury viewed footage from those cameras that showed Tekashi begging for his life prior to being directed out of the car at gunpoint.
While on the stand, the rapper claimed that he was robbed of all of his jewelry, including a diamond-encrusted My Little Pony chain, and left in rival gang territory after Ellison and another male beat him up and decided whether or not to kill the rapper.
Tekashi 69’s testimony garnered massive criticism from people on social media and fellow entertainers. The rapper was called “Tekashi Snitch9ine” in response to his testimony where he name-dropped rappers Jim Jones and Cardi B as members of the Bloods.
The 23-year-old faces a minimum of 47 years in prison. However, he could possibly earn time-served for assisting the feds. It’s currently unclear whether or not the rapper will enter witness protection post serving time. His sentencing is scheduled for January 2020. When Ellison and Make are sentenced, they face up to life in prison.
