Is JT Of City Girls Coming Home From Jail Soon?
There’s recently been a lot of talk regarding JT of the Miami rap duo City Girls coming home from jail.
Fans of the duo and the “Act Up” rapper have continuously inquired, and recently Yung Miami and Pierre “Pee” Thomas, who is one of the co-founders of the record label Quality Control that City Girls are signed to, have spoken out about JT’s release.
On Sunday, Yung Miami shared a photograph of the City Girls on a billboard ad for Amazon Music at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles.
A fan commented on Yung Miami’s post asking about when JT will be released from jail.
“Give us a hint on JT arrival,” the fan wrote. “Couple days,” Yung Miami replied alongside two smiley face emojis.
However, Thomas recently spoke out regarding JT’s release, but he didn’t mention that it would happen in a few days.
“When JT comes home she going to the halfway house, but the great thing about the halfway house is they let you go on work release, so soon as she’s out she’s gonna be locked in the studio working,” Thomas explained, as Complex reported.
“Hopefully she’ll be out next month…in a few weeks if everything goes how it’s supposed to go,” Thomas continued.
During the interview, that took place last Friday (Aug. 16), Thomas also revealed that fans of the rap duo may receive a new City Girls album soon. Perhaps fans will just have to wait and see when exactly JT will free from behind bars.
The rapper was originally expected to be released from jail on March 21, 2020. JT is currently serving an almost two-year prison sentence for felony identity theft charges.
