UPDATE: ‘Sister, Sister’ Star Confirms Niece Killed in California Shooting
UPDATE 11/8/2018 3:34 PM EST: Tamera Mowry has confirmed her niece, Alaina Housley, was killed in the Borderline Bar shooting in Thousand Oaks, Calif.
In a statement to TMZ, Mowry says, “Our hearts are broken. We just learned that our Alaina was one of the victims of last night’s shooting at Borderline Bar in Thousand Oaks. Alaina was an incredible young woman with so much life ahead of her and we are devastated that her life was cut short in this manner.”

Last night, a shooting broke out in California at a bar during college night, claiming 12 lives.
Now, Tamera Mowry is desperately searching for information that may lead to her niece.
Mowry’s niece was believed to be at Borderline Bar & Grill at the time the incident occurred.
In a series of tweets, Mowry and her husband, Adam Housley, expressed concern and asked for prayers after not being able to reach Alaina Housley.
One of Alaina’s friends also posted a tweet stating that she was missing.
