In the statement, the pop star admitted that she is still plagued by addiction and it’s not an illness that can be overcome easily.
In the post, Lovato also took the opportunity to thank her fans, her team, and her doctors for all their love and support during and after her overdose.
As you know, she was found unresponsive at her residence over a week ago amid reports she had overdosed.
At the time, she was rushed to the hospital for treatment. After suffering a few complications, Lovato is just now ready to leave the hospital.
Her message to fans was clear and ended with her saying she will keep fighting and hopes she can overcome her addictions.
It is believed the pop star will enter rehab as she continues to recover.
