Lil Nas X Posts Controversial Cover Art For New Song ‘J Christ’
Lil Nas X is back. The rapper/singer became a trending topic on Monday (Jan. 8) after he announced that he has a new song coming out titled “J Christ.” In the cover art, Lil Nas X is seen lying on a wooden cross with two people holding him up and three people with ropes tugging on him.
“MY NEW SINGLE IS DEDICATED TO THE MAN WHO HAD THE GREATEST COMEBACK OF ALL TIME!,” Lil Nas X wrote in the caption of the cover art posted to Instagram. “J CHRIST JANUARY 12, 2024 00:00 EST BE THERE!”
Since the image is the portrayal of Jesus Christ (whom the song is named after) being nailed on the cross there was a lot of backlash on social media.

“can’t believe u got God as a feature !! u sneaky dawg,” another fan jokingly responded.
“Bruh I swear his marketing strategy is just to make everyone hate him once a year, someone protect this man from the avalanche this is about to kick off lol,” another fan wrote.
