Ed Sheeran Secretly Welcomed His Second Daughter
Ed Sheeran welcomed his second child with his wife, Cherry Seaborn. He told fans via an announcement made via Instagram. The “Bad Habits” singer already has a 1-year-old daughter, Lyra Antarctica, and in the post, Sheeran revealed he had another daughter.
Sheeran, 31, shared a photo of a pair of little white booties on a brown woven blanket and captioned it nonchalantly, “Want to let you all know we’ve had another beautiful baby girl. We are both so in love with her, and over the moon to be a family of 4 x.” It is unclear when Sheeran and Seaborn’s second child was born.
Lyra Antarctica was born in August 2020, and Sheeran captioned a photo of navy and gray baby socks to make the announcement at the time. He captioned the pice, “Ello! A quick message from me as I have some personal news that I wanted to share with you… Last week, with the help of an amazing delivery team, Cherry gave birth to our beautiful and healthy daughter – Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran. We are completely in love with her. Both mum and baby are doing amazing and we are on cloud nine over here. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Lots of love and I’ll see you when it’s time to come back, Ed x.”
Sheeran and Seaborn, also 31, began dating in 2015 and married in January 2019. The crooner has reportedly written a lot of songs about his now-wife, including hits like “Perfect” and “Shape of You.” In December 2019, Seaborn even starred in his music video for “Put It All On Me.”
