LONG BEACH, CALIFORNIA - OCTOBER 30: Drake speaks onstage during Drake's Till Death Do Us Part rap battle on October 30, 2021 in Long Beach, California.

One thing we learned is that you do not play with Drake. It all went down Tuesday night (May 4) when Drake commented on an Instagram post from NBA shooting coach named Lethal Shooter who was saying that fathers of star NBA players like LeVar Ball and Tee Morant have every right to be enthusiastic. Drizzy commented on the post saying he too understands why fathers would be ecstatic that their sons are some of the top players in the league and that if it were him he would be the same way.

“Imagine your son makes the league and he’s Ja or Melo or Lonzo,” Drizzy wrote. “All you can do is be elated and competitive and it’s a right of passage to that the OG’s talk s—. I know I’mma be this way even if my son is in a rubix cube competition.”

That’s when he a troll by the user name @ceddybo_ybagnm commented on the post, “Ya son prolly play with ghostwriters,” insinuating Drake doesn’t write any of his raps.

Drake clapped back and wrote, “I just followed your girl cause she’s prob miserable and needs some excitement in her life.”

The OVO founder stayed true to his word and did in fact follow the troll’s wife and DM’d her.

“I’m here for u ma,” Drake wrote in the troll’s wife’s DMs.
