Rae Sremmurd’s Brother Charged With First-Degree Murder
Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee’s brother has been charged with first-degree murder for killing his dad (Slim and Swae’s step father). Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee are the two members of the group Rae Sremmurd.
TMZ reports that Michael Sullivan has been charged with murder in Lee County, Mississippi. He could face life in prison if convicted. Right now, he is in custody, and there is no word on when the case will go to trial.
Michael’s father, Floyd Sullivan Jr., was shot on Jan. 6. Bernadette Walker, Michael’s mother, had stated before that she thinks Michael was off his meds when the incident happened.
The outlet points out, “Bernadette also revealed Michael is afflicted with Schizoaffective disorder, which lends to schizophrenia and everything that comes with it … including mood swings, delusions, etc. It’s unclear how this factored into what was presented to the grand jury — but we were told he was held for a psychiatric evaluation before he was eventually arrested and taken to jail.”
Neither Rae Sremmurd member has said much about the incident, but on January 7, Swae Lee did tweet out four broken heart emojis. He also tweeted then deleted a message that read, “I pray this world lets me keep some compassion.”
