Rainy Day Fun For Kids In Fayetteville

As the rain comes down outside, you look for some stuff for the kids to do and arts and crafts, watching cartoons on TV, shows on the Disney Channel, or the dreaded video games. But sometimes the kids want to just get out of the house and play.

So, as you look for something to do with the kids right here in Fayetteville, you can find many indoor places where kids can play, let loose, and have some fun.

When my kids were little and they were a bit restless with rainy days outside, I used to take them to a lot of jump houses, and then, of course, there’s Chuck E. Cheese and similar places where the kids have so much fun.

We gathered a couple of the great indoor kids’ play places here in Fayetteville to take the kids this weekend.

Mega Play

Mega Play is a new and unique indoor children’s playground and party facility. Located in the Spring Lake Skyland Shopping Center, little kids all over Spring Lake and surrounding areas will love their play equipment! Along with an abundance of great new, colorful toys, parents will have a blast playing with their children.

Mega Pplay is open 10-7 PM Monday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday open from 10 to 9 PM and on Sunday open from 11 to 6. They are also open on many holidays, including New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, and Halloween.

Epic Fun Park

With a wide variety of attractions and a full cafe with drinks for kids and adults, Epic Fun Park is a one-stop shop for fun! So much to choose from – the Carolina’s largest indoor inflatable, a ropes course, climbing walls, and more.

Epic Fun Park also hosts birthday parties and events.

Urban Adventure Park

Urban Adventure Park has attractions that cater to any level of adventurer. The indoor adventure park provides a safe place for all ages to explore. Just put on those Urban Air socks and let ‘em loose.

There are new adventures behind every corner here, and they say they are “the ultimate indoor playground for your entire family.” You can also take your kids’ birthday party to the next level.

Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s. Many of her stories are from her one-on-one interviews. She was there at the beginning of the incredible careers of many music superstars today, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, and Blake Shelton, and has interviewed them multiple times throughout the years.
