DJ Khaled’s Ice Cream Freezer Goes Viral, Rivals Ice Cream Trucks
DJ Khaled just reminded everyone that celebrities are definitely not like the rest of us. He recently gave a peek into his over-the-top, fully-stocked ice cream freezer.
In a 22-second clip, the 48-year-old DJ and record producer swings open the door to his gigantic freezer, revealing an impressive lineup of ice cream pints and half-gallons from brands like Breyers, Häagen-Dazs, Ben & Jerry’s, and Jeni’s, all neatly arranged on the shelves.
But that’s not all! The freezer door itself is a treasure trove of treats that would make any ice cream truck jealous, with frozen Snickers, Milky Way, Reese’s, and M&M’s goodies, plus Little Debbie Nutty Buddy bars, Dove bars, Blue Ribbon cones, and more.
“Wow. Asahd, which ice cream should I get?” Khaled asked his beaming seven-year-old son, who also appears in the video. “Ooh, this right here is what I want. I’m going Oreo cookie,” he said, reaching for an Oreo cone, as someone off-camera offered up a box of Fat Boy ice cream sandwiches.
It’s a mystery where the video originally surfaced, though likely from Khaled’s Instagram stories. But after landing on X, formerly Twitter, it went viral, racking up over 35 million views in under two days.
“Dude got a better selection than most ice cream trucks, no wonder he the same size as his fridge,” joked one person, while another wrote, “DJ Khalories.”
Last year, Khaled shared that he had shed around 25 pounds playing golf. Whether he’s keeping up with that progress is anyone’s guess, but having an entire freezer dedicated to ice cream doesn’t exactly scream “weight loss.” Then again, life is short!
It’s no secret that celebrities have some pretty quirky stuff in their homes, and DJ Khaled is no exception. For instance, an official Freddie Mercury Facebook page once shared a photo of a fridge full of Cristal. The caption read, “I thought you might like to see one of Freddie’s fridges before a small party. On the right are bottles of Louis Roederer Cristal!”
Actress Emma Roberts, on the other hand, has a unique collection of dolls that she proudly displays on shelves near her office in her Los Angeles home. During a video tour with Architectural Digest, she couldn’t contain her excitement as she showed off her collection, featuring favorites like “leggy Jill,” “drunk cowgirl Barbie,” and Blythe. “I’m madly obsessed with them—in love with them,” she gushed.
She even confessed that she hopes the dolls come to life. “I hope that every night—that they’ll come wake me up,” she said. “It would be so thrilling.”
