Lizzo Reacts To South Park Spoof
In the latest episode of South Park, titled “The End of Obesity,” Lizzo was referenced and now she’s talking about it. The special debuted on Friday, May 24, and shows characters saying that a “new, crazy” weight-management drug has come to market to rival Ozempic and Mounjaro called “Semaglutides.”

In the trailer and subsequent clips posted to YouTube, the episode centers around the craze behind weight-loss drugs. “The End of Obesity” spoofs how celebrities, both male and female, use medications like Ozempic and Mounjaro to lose significant amounts of weight and depicts its characters struggling to access the drugs as more limitations are put on them. In the episode, “Lizzo” is advertised as an alternative to Ozempic, making patients who can’t afford a weight-loss medication embrace their size instead. Lizzo is well-known for publicly championing body positivity.
In a TikTok posted over the weekend, the “About Damn Time” singer, 36, reacted to the new special, in which her music is prescribed as an alternative to Ozempic. “Guys, my worst fear has been actualized,” the singer says in a close-up video. “I’ve been referenced in a South Park episode.” With dead eyes, she adds, “I’m so scared.”
While playing the clip that references her, Lizzo announced she was going to do a duet with the clip. When the commercial for “Lizzo” plays, the Grammy winner covers her hand over her mouth in shock. “I’ve lowered my standards and expectations!” As the commercial lists the benefits of taking “Lizzo,” including “eating everything you want and keep physical activity to a minimum.” The artist’s mouth gaped open as more of the side effects were listed: “Some patients reported constipation while listening to Lizzo. Stop listening to Lizzo if you start experiencing suicidal thoughts!”

With Lizzo!” The artist snaps and adds, “Period.”
Giving her review of the little snippet, Lizzo says in her TikTok, “That’s crazy! I just feel like, ‘Damn, I’m really that bitch! I’m really… that bitch. I really showed the world how to love yourself and not give a f—, to the point where these men in Colorado know who the f— I am and put it on their cartoon that’s been around for 25 years. I’m really that bitch and I show y’all how to not give a f—, and I’ma keep on showing you how to not give a f—! Oh-oh-oh-oh Lizzo! Bitch.”
Yesterday (May 28), Lizzo posted a clip of herself dancing to the song “Nasty” by Tinashe, the “2 Be Loved” singer adds the text: “OH OH ITS LIZZO.”
