Keller Williams Celebrates RED Day With Community Yard Sale In Fayetteville
This week the Keller Williams realty company will hold a community yard sale in the heart of Fayetteville, all to celebrate its annual RED Day. The yard sale is scheduled for Thursday, May 9 at the company’s Fayetteville headquarters.
What Is RED Day?
For the past fifteen years, Keller Williams has dedicated the second Thursday of May to focus heavily on community service. This is a day that the company can “Renew, Energize, and Donate” within their cities of operation.
According to Keller Williams’ website, the idea of RED Day was formed in 2009 as a way of celebrating the birthday of company board member Mo Anderson. Since then the idea has blossomed into a philanthropic venture meant to provide whatever it is that each of the company’s communities may need.
Details About The RED Day Yard Sale
The community yard sale runs 10 AM – 3 PM on Thursday, May 9, at 639 Executive Place in Fayetteville. Residents are encouraged to drop off donations at the same address anytime before Wednesday, May 8. Any items donated should be in clean, working condition. All unsold items will be donated to various local organizations.
All proceeds from the yard sale will go to Patriot Hunts, a local non profit organization that provides hands on outdoor experiences to veterans, first responders and Gold Star families. This organization works to promote healing and strengthens the brother and sisterhood of those who serve.
