Chrissy Teigen’s 5-Year-Old Son Has Yet to Eat a Vegetable
Chrissy Teigen may have four kids, but when it comes to instilling healthy eating habits in her children, the model and author reveals she is more lax about things like that.
While appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday (January 18), Teigen, 38, was asked by host Kimmel if her kids were “good eaters.” She replied, “Well, my daughter and John are here. They’re in the first row,” as the crowd began to cheer while John Legend, 45, and daughter Luna Simone, 7, smiled from the audience. Luna apparently goes to Legend’s place of work on The Voice “all the time,” but she never really comes to see her mom work.
Getting back to the subject of eating, the Chrissy & Dave Dine Out star says Luna is the “best eater.” She eats salads and vegetables — something her second-oldest child takes no part in. Of her five-year-old son, Miles Theodore, Teigen reveals he has “still not had a vegetable.” Turning six in May, Teigen recalls how he “accidentally ate a broccoli floret in a fried rice and was so upset about it.”

The Cravings author claims that at his age, being a picky eater is the “only thing they really have control over at that age so he uses it.” Kimmel, who is a father of two grown adults, then joked that it’s interesting how they say children have no control over anything, “but they seem to have control over every aspect, every minute of our lives.” Teigen laughed and agreed with the host.
While appearing on Kimmel’s show, Teigen was joined by David Chang, who she stars in the new show, Chrissy & Dave Dine Out. The show will premiere on January 24 on Freeform and will stream on Hulu the next day. Teigen and Chang have dinner with famous faces like the late-night host, Simu Liu, Alexandra Daddario, Kumail Nanjiani, Sasheer Zamata, Eric Nam, Randall Park, Reid Scott, and Regina Hall. Their conversations are cheeky, sexy, embarrassing, and raw. Watch the trailer below:
