Miley Cyrus Reveals ‘Endless Summer Vacation’ Tracklist

Miley Cyrus had a very important announcement to make on Instagram today (February 27). The singer-songwriter revealed the full tracklist for her upcoming eighth studio album, Endless Summer Vacation!

After the mega comeback hit “Flowers” dominated the airwaves since its January debut, the artist unveiled on social media the 13 songs that will be coming out in less than two weeks. Opening up the album with “Flowers,” the rest of the songs include: “Jaded,” “Rose Colored Lenses,” “You,” “Handstand,” “River,” “Violet Chemistry,” “Wildcard”, “Island,” and “Wonder Woman,” as well collaborations with Sia (on “Muddy Feet”) and Brandi Carlile (on “Thousand Miles”). The final song will be a demo version of “Flowers.”

“Flowers” spends a sixth week at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making it Cyrus’ longest-running number 1 hit. As we previously reported, the singer described the upcoming album as “her love letter to L.A.” in her initial announcement last month.

 

Fans speculated that Selena Gomez would be featured on one of the tracks. However, she was not credited in today’s announcement. Nonetheless, there is a rumor that the Disney alum will be making an appearance in the music video for “Jaded.” According to an insider, Miley, Selena, and Paris Hilton will star in the video as an iconic 2000s trinity. Cyrus will be playing Britney Spears, Gomez will be Lindsay Lohan and Paris will be herself.

 

Gomez also teased new music in recent months. During a December 2022 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she teased her upcoming studio album: “I’m so used to writing sad-girl songs because I’m good at that,” the “Calm Down” singer said. “But I’m ready to have some fun, and I think people are going to like it.”

In the meantime, rewatch the official trailer for Endless Summer Vacation, which has been described as a “reflection of the strength [Miley has] found in focusing on both her physical and mental well-being,” according to Variety. Fans can pre-order multiple configurations now including black vinyl, exclusive red vinyl and an exclusive clear vinyl variant only available on her official website.

She became a “teen idol” after the show’s success, which ran for four seasons and ended with a theatrical feature film in 2009. In 2023, Cyrus dropped her eighth studio album, Endless Summer Vacation. She described the record as her “love letter to Los Angeles,” which reflects upon the “strength” she found in focusing on her physical and mental well-being. The music video for the album’s debut single “Flowers” shades her ex-husband for cheating on her with 14 women. She said in March the song reflects a time in her life when she went through a lot emotionally and personally. It started as something that was troubling. Using a metaphor to describe “RIVER,” the songwriter said. “It feels like it’s an April shower. It never stops raining. And then it started raining down like love.” The artist then said bluntly how “they” don’t want her to talk about her ex-husband, whose name is censored.
