Ed Sheeran Reveals ‘Turbulent Things’ Are Happening In His Personal Life
Ed Sheeran performs during the Platinum Jubilee Pageant in front of Buckingham Palace on June 05, 2022 in London, England. The Platinum Jubilee of Elizabeth II is being celebrated from June 2 to June 5, 2022, in the UK and Commonwealth to mark the 70th anniversary of the accession of Queen Elizabeth II on 6 February 1952.
Ed Sheeran is sharing a vulnerable and playful side of himself in a new Instagram post to his fans. The 31-year-old British singer-songwriter addressed his lack of engagement with fans on the social media app in a video uploaded Tuesday (January 31).
“I realized I haven’t been that engaged in my social media and my fan base online for the past couple of years,” Sheeran admits in the clip, calling his recent posts “quite a bit boring. It’s my fault,” he playfully whispers to the camera.
He goes on to offer an explanation for his online absence, saying, “Just being totally honest, I’ve had some turbulent things been happening in my personal life so I just didn’t really feel like being online and pretending to be something I’m… not when I wasn’t feeling like that. I don’t know, that sounds weird, but hence I’m making this video to say things are looking up! And I’m back online.”
“So, you know, weird s— is gonna start being posted here,” he continues while hovering his hand in a claw-like fashion. “I’ve made this video like 50 f—ing times, I’m not making another one,” he says while laughing.
Sheeran doesn’t clarify exactly what “turbulent things” he’s referring to in regard to his personal life. Back in November, he shared a photo of himself standing atop a big boulder overlooking a scenic ocean view. He captioned the post: “Signing off now until 2023. See you in the new year. Much love, Ed x.” Earlier that month, Sheeran shared that he planned to release his sixth album in 2023.
In Sheeran’s candid post yesterday, he flashed his wedding band several times in the video. He tied the knot with his longtime love Cherry Seaborn in 2019. The couple are parents to 2-year-old daughter Lyra and 8-month-old daughter, Jupiter.
These Celebrities Have February Birthdays
February may be the shortest month of the year with just 28 days (29 on a leap year), but there are plenty of celebrities born in the second month of the year! People born in February are either Aquarius (born between February 1 and 18) or Pisces (February 19 to 28/29). Unique, highly intellectual, and creative, Aquarius can be an enigma to others but never to themselves. Air sign Aquarius is represented by the water bearer, the mystical healer who bestows water, or life, upon the land. They are the last of the air signs, and of all the zodiac signs, Aquarius is the most innovative, progressive, rebellious, and humanitarian. Aquariuses are known to be intellectual and curious, often interested in conspiracy theories and out-of-this-world thoughts.
Aquarius is ruled by Uranus, the planet that governs innovation, technology, and surprising events. This perfectly complements Aquarius’ nontraditional nature. Aquarius also have a reputation for being cold and detached, sometimes so focused on their plans that they neglect their family and friends. Even though Aquarius can let the present slip away from them, their free-spirited and eccentric personalities make them so charismatic.
Meanwhile, February Pisces are typically the most stereotypical Pisces. Since February-born Pisceans are ruled purely by Neptune, they tend to embody those dreamlike and creative qualities. This can be both a strength and weakness, making Pisces born in February natural creatives who excel at channeling their deep feelings into meaningful works of art. Regardless, Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac, making it the most wise and psychic of all the other signs. There is much to be learned by Pisces, who tend to live half in a dream state. Represented by two fish swimming in opposite directions, the constant division of Pisces’s attention between fantasy and reality is seen as this yin-yang symbol.
It is no surprise that many talented actors and musicians are born in the month of February. See below which of your favorite stars have a February birthday!
